Michelle Watson
Michelle has been with the firm for over 20 years, and in that time, she’s helped hundreds of businesses grow and thrive. As a general practice accountant, she works mainly with small and medium-sized businesses, as well as overseas companies setting up UK subsidiaries.
She’s especially hands-on when it comes to supporting start-ups – helping them get off the ground by setting up business bank accounts, recommending the right accounting software, and guiding them through those early challenges. As businesses grow, she’s there to help with VAT registration, cash flow management, and everything in between.
Michelle also brings valuable insight from her time working as an accountant in industry. This experience gives her a practical understanding of the day-to-day pressures businesses face, allowing her to offer advice that is based knowledge and experience. She knows what it’s like to be on the inside of a business, which helps her anticipate client needs and tailor her support accordingly.
She specialises in management accounts and accounting software, with experience in the childcare, manufacturing, construction, and retail sectors. She’s known for building strong, face-to-face relationships with her clients, and believes that trust is the key to solving any business challenge together.
Outside of work, Michelle enjoys running, going to the gym, and volunteers at her daughter’s swim school.
