Since joining the firm in 2007, Matthew has become a trusted Tax Partner, known for his clear, down-to-earth advice and strong client relationships. He advises a broad range of clients, from sole traders to multi nationals, across a wide range of tax areas including Capital Gains Tax, Corporation Tax, SDLT, trusts, probate, and general tax matters.
An expert in inheritance tax planning, Matthew works closely with high-net-worth individuals to review their estates and put plans in place to ensure assets are passed on to loved ones in the most tax-efficient way. His thoughtful approach provides families with peace of mind and helps protect assets for future generations. Outside of work, Matthew is a devoted Liverpool FC supporter and enjoys playing golf. He has a wide appreciation for music, with country being a firm favourite, and loves travelling and spending quality time with his wife and friends — whether that’s discovering new destinations or enjoying relaxed evenings closer to home.
