Laura Hicks
Laura is a qualified tax adviser who has been part of the Moore East Midlands team since 2019. She assisted the payroll team, and the VAT team for a few months before settling in tax which is where she found her love for it. She completed her AAT in 2021, ATT in 2023 and CTA in 2024.
Laura works with individuals, owner-managed businesses and large corporates, offering advice on a wide range of business, personal tax, capital gains tax and corporation tax.
Laura likes making sense of numbers and helping clients navigate the tricky and ever-changing world of tax.
Outside of the office, you can find Laura at the gym or dancing away in a Zumba class because ‘who doesn’t love a boogie at 7pm on a Monday’, experimenting with new recipes from her ever-growing collection of world cookbooks or looking for the next stamp to add to her passport. Laura has travelled Europe and Asia and would, one day, love to visit every continent. If there is a karaoke mic on a night out, Laura will be there singing her heart out.
