Jonathan Barrett
Jonathan has been a valued member of the firm since 2006, bringing extensive experience in personal taxation. He specialises in advising individuals on a wide range of tax matters, including the preparation and review of Tax Returns, Capital Gains Tax, and the calculation of personal tax liabilities. Known for his responsive and approachable manner, Jonathan supports clients through regular communication, providing clear and timely guidance on their tax obligations.
He also works with businesses to ensure compliance in relation to benefits in kind, including the preparation and submission of P11D forms. In addition, Jonathan has developed specialist expertise in the Enterprise Investment Scheme (EIS), advising clients on eligibility, reliefs, and reporting requirements.
Jonathan is committed to delivering a high standard of service, ensuring clients receive accurate, practical advice tailored to their individual circumstances.
Outside of work, Jonathan has set himself a couple of personal challenges that combine his love of travel and discovery, visiting every Scottish football ground and visiting every Everards pub in the country.
