April Foster
April joined the firm in 1996 after her A Levels, completing her accountancy training with Moore and rising through the ranks to become a Partner in 2018. April became Joint Managing Partner in 2022 and leads the firm’s Corby and Northampton offices.
With years of hands-on experience, April provides expert accountancy advice and support to a wide range of clients, from Owner Managed Businesses to large corporate clients. Although she works with a broad range of clients, she has particular specialisms in the healthcare and farming sectors and working with Family Investment Companies.
Her role goes far beyond the numbers. As well as offering practical day-to-day operational guidance, she also supports clients through significant personal and business changes. Her ability to combine technical expertise with genuine empathy means she often becomes a trusted confidante – many clients describe her as being like a part of the family.
April is passionate about building long-term relationships and takes pride in being a consistent, reassuring presence for her clients.
When she’s not working, April enjoys travelling with her family, catching up with friends and walking in the countryside.
