Our overall Net Promotor Score (NPS) is 70.

The Net Promoter Score (NPS) is a market research metric used to measure customer loyalty and satisfaction. It is calculated based on responses to a single question: “On a scale of 0 to 10, how likely are you to recommend our service to a friend or colleague?”

An NPS above 0 is considered ‘good,’ and a score between 50 and 70 is regarded as excellent, indicating very loyal customers who are likely to recommend your business to others.

Different industries have varying benchmarks for what constitutes a good NPS. In the financial services industry, scores typically range from 30 to 50, meaning our score is well above average!

Our story

Moore East Midlands started out in the 1920s as a small accountancy practice in Kettering run by Howard Smith and Herbert Hawthorn. The firm grew considerably throughout 20th century,  merging with several other local practices including E Lacey & Co., Nicolas Hart & Co., Starkie Lewis Walding, and Cushing Fairbairn Wardle (CFW).

In 1995 the firm, then known as Smith Starmer Hart, joined the Moore Stephens International network as an independent member firm.

In 2019, the Moore Stephens International network rebranded to become Moore Global, and we became Moore East Midlands.

Today, we’re a team of around 80 people, working from offices in Corby and Peterborough, with a small serviced office in Northampton.

Throughout our long and varied history, one thing has remained unchanged: our commitment to giving our clients all the support and guidance they need to tackle risks, harness new opportunities and ultimately, thrive in a changing world.
